Awhile back we did some videos for a company called New Avenue Systems, who had been ahead of the curve in mobile internet development. Great respect was formed on both sides, leading to a new joint venture between the two companies that is in its infancy. While we are keeping the details under wraps for now, we are excited about the prospect of opening new options for businesses by combining mobile technology and video.
| Today we began compiling some of our video for that project, shooting the exterior building site of The Leftbank Project with the Canon 5D Mark II. This is our first venture with the 5D and the jury is out on whether or not this will become our primary shooting device. Much to like about the DSLR, but it poses some problems, as well, for those of us whose primary business is video. |
After more testing, we’ll write up or own personal review. There’s one thing for sure, though. The image looks terrific. Here are some pics of our adventure.
